Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 2 tsp black tea leaves or 2 tea bags (optional)
  • Honey or maple syrup to taste

Preparation

  1. Boil Bring water to a boil and add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
  3. Add the black tea leaves (if using) and steep for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the milk and sweetener of choice, then heat gently.
  5. Strain into cups and serve warm.
